Skiing again

Yesterday we went skiing with the kids. It was their first time. At least it was for Bas and Tom. Pim has had a try before but not on a real slope. PBT really liked the skiing. I was surprised how well Bas was doing. I had expected him to be more afraid but he wasn't afraid at all! After a few times down the slope he only needed a hand to get to the elevator. The rest he could do on his own!

Pim was a bit more uncertain. And he should be. Not being able to steer or stop makes skiing pretty risky (of course we stayed on a beginner's slope and not much harm could be done but with Pim you never know). Anyway, Chris or I stayed with him all the time and caught him when he went too fast. This way Pim dared to go down and still liked it.

Tom was just as I expected, the cool little guy not caring about danger or brakes. He just went down and when he fell we picked him up and he would go down again.

Anyway, we all had a great day. Hope to do it again soon. But maybe then with some real lessons for the kids.
